Future Directions

The Study proposes the following future directions for the Inner Southern Social Planning Alliance

• Strengthen its advocacy efforts through a 'united voice' to represent the priority community needs of the region
• Facilitate a multi agency and discipline approach to collaborative planning and service delivery
• Be well placed to address emerging social and community needs based on current information and data
• To effectively respond to emerging shifts in State and Commonwealth Government policy directions and funding arrangements

There is a clear commitment by members towards a collaborative regional approach within the Alliance's framework to advocate, collaborate and enhance communication and cooperation between agencies to enhance service delivery.
