Concordia team winners of design-athon 2021.jpg

On Wednesday 3 November 2021, the Living Young Reference Group lead a new youth development initiative, Design-athon School Competition.

Participating local secondary schools included Concordia College, Adelaide, Glenunga International High School, Unley High School and Walford Anglican School for Girls.

They came together to challenge their students to design projects that the Council could implement to support young people's mental health and well-being.

Each school had time to problem solve, design a civic project and present their innovative idea to a panel of judges.

Congratulations to the winning school, Concordia College. They now get the chance to present their project idea to Council in 2022 for consideration.
