Meet Me Monday

Meet Me Monday is a social support program held at the Unley Community Centre on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, from 10.30am to 2.30pm, for residents with early stages of dementia or memory loss, and their carers.

Participants enjoy a fun, friendly day with a variety of activities, including tasty lunches cooked on-site, games, bus trips, guest speakers, exercise and art sessions.

Meet Me Monday offers a great opportunity for participants to relax while developing friendships and support networks within their local community.

For more information about our programs, phone (08) 8372 5191.

Buddies At Breakfast

Join us for breakfast and conversation at our weekly men’s breakfast every Friday at Unley Park Sports Club. It’s a great way to meet other men in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Depending on the weather, we try our hand at bowls, petanque and croquet with support and guidance from the club and staff.

Or we might stay inside and enjoy a cuppa, share a yarn or joke, play billiards and perhaps compete in a fun quiz.

Support with transport may be available. Talk to us if a male in your life wants to attend and could use the support of a carer or volunteer. Alternatively, if a male carer wants to attend, we may be able to arrange care for family members or loved ones at home.

Registration for catering purposes is essential. A referral to the My Aged Care program is necessary. The City of Unley can assist you with this.
