Check the Status of a Development Application

The new Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 came into effect on 19 March 2021 and all new applications are now required to be lodged through the ePlanning Portal. You can track the status of an application here.

All development applications lodged after  19 March 2021 and subject to public notification under the new Act are now listed on the PlanSA website. You can view applications currently on notice by clicking the links below.  

Follow the steps below to view past applications lodged prior to 19 March 2021.

Step 1.Visit our online portal

  • Select 'Development Application search' 
  • Select 'List of Development Applications' and 'Next'
  • You can search applications using an Address, Application Number, Certificate of title or the date lodged

Step 2.View the status of your application

  • Click on the Application number displayed on the left hand side
  • This will provide you an overview of the application including the status
  • If a decision has been made the outcome will appear under 'Decision Details'.
