Try Bangladeshi Quilt Embroidery with Masuma Akther

Masuma Akther provides a sampler session of a series of traditional stitches whilst discussing the cultural heritage of the Bangladesh technique Nakshi Kantha, a delicate embroidery using motifs based on wedding traditions, sacred symbols and the everyday stories of village life in Bangladesh

The Community Room at Fullarton Park Community Centre

Light refreshments are provided within the session.

Please note: If you wish to attend the afternoon session a separate booking will need to be made for this session.
