The Schwalbe Men’s Stage 6 Start of the Santos Tour Down Under will be held the morning after the Unley Gala on Sunday 21 January 2024. Festivities commence at 9.20am with the Santos Tour Down Under race start commencing at 11.10am.

The official start arch will be located on King William Road, near Walter Street, with the cyclists heading south, finishing in Mt Lofty.

To aid preparations and provide a safe environment for both the Unley Gala and the Santos Tour Down Under Stage 6 Start, there will be some changes to traffic access, with road closures and temporary parking restrictions in place.

The parking and traffic information map(PDF, 275KB) provides further details, including road closures, permit and disability parking, toilets, and public bus services which will be re-routed from 6am on Saturday 20 January until 2pm on Sunday 21 January 2024.

Please ensure your vehicle is not parked on King William Road between Arthur Street and Park/Mitchell Streets on the night of Friday 19 January 2024, or between Park/Mitchell Streets and Jasper Street the night of Saturday 20 January 2024. After 6am on Saturday 20 January and 6am on Sunday 21 January, all vehicles parked on these sections of road will be towed.
