Circuit Meal Service

Offering low cost and nutritious lunches to our community, the Circuit Café is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 11.30am – 12.30pm.

Meet Me Monday | 2nd & 4th Monday of each Month

2nd and 4th Monday of each Month, 10am – 2pm

Meet Me Monday is a social support group for people who have dementia or memory loss and their carers.

Meet Me Monday is a great opportunity to develop friendships and support networks within your local community while participating in a relaxed day of activities, enjoying lunch together and occasional bus outings.

Drawing and Sketching | Tuesdays

12.30 – 3pm

Come join this weekly beginner’s class running every Tuesday afternoon at the Unley Community Centre. Classes involve a traditional approach to still life drawing of 3D objects, as well as varying experimental exercises. Plenty of support and guidance provided by our experienced and friendly tutor.

Chair Yoga | Tuesdays

10.45 – 11.45am

Weekly classes run at the Unley Community Centre incorporating breathing exercises, stretches, yoga poses and relaxation techniques to increase flexibility and strength and improve and improve posture and balance.

The classes are taught using classic yoga poses that have been modified for the chair.

Cost: $7 per class.

Unley Explorers Walking Group | Tuesdays


Enjoy a leisurely, social walk through the streets of Unley with likeminded locals. We welcome people, pets, prams, walkers, gophers and wheelchairs. Leaving at 8.30am sharp every Tuesday from the Unley Community Centre, 18 Arthur Street, Unley.

Do you have a hidden skill of knitting or crocheting or maybe haven’t quite finished that scarf that you started? Join our friendly group and learn new skills.

Fitness with Doug | Wednesdays

11am - 12 noon

Come and join our friendly group who have fun while getting fit.

Exercises designed to increase your flexibility, balance, strength and coordination.

The class starts off with some warm up activities, followed by more challenging cardio including team games, strength exercises using light hand weights, and finishing with some pilates and stretching.

Work at your own pace but with plenty of support from the group.

Cost $8.00 per class.

The Jungle Body: Konga Low | Wednesdays

10.10am (45 mins)

Konga Low is a fun movement-based class that utilises dance, cardio, boxing and sculpting to provide you with an effective workout. The class can be adapted to all levels and with only 4 moves per song it is suitable for beginners at ANY age. Put to music of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, this class is guaranteed to get you moving!

Cost: $8, first trial class free.

Strength for Life Class | Wednesdays & Thursdays

Wednesdays 2 – 3pm

Thursdays 2 – 3pm

The Strength for Life (SFL) Program offers quality strength training programs to people over the age of 50.

Participants receive a tailored exercise program designed to increase muscle strength and improve balance.

Classes are also a great way to have fun and meet new people at the same time.

$7 per lesson. A fitness Assessment fee of $30 applies to all new SFL clients before commencing.

Learn the art of Tai Chi and Qigong. Graceful forms of exercise involving a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.

Do you want to learn something new and get your brain active? Do you want to make new friends?

Come along on Fridays and play the card game of Bolivia, a three-deck variation of Canasta or Samba.

Stretch and Flex | Fridays

9.45 - 10.45am

Offered by popular over 50s exercise instructor, Venton Cook, Stretch and Flex introduces participants to the enjoyment and health benefits of learning to stretch properly.

By incorporating the movement elements of Yoga and Pilates, the program combines introductory exercises with a sustainable exercise routine designed to increase your muscle strength and flexibility and wellbeing.

No prior knowledge or experience in Yoga or Pilates is required to join the program, so come along and give it a go.
