2021-22 budget consultation now open
Published on 30 April 2021
Each year Council must make important decisions about allocating ratepayers' funds to the vast range of programs and services it provides via an Annual Business Plan and Budget.
Before a council adopts its Plan, it must prepare a Draft Annual Business Plan and Budget and undertake a public consultation process.
The purpose of the Draft 2021-22 Annual Business Plan and Budget is to impart understanding of:
- Services provided by the City of Unley
- Proposed new initiatives and projects, and
- The Draft budget for 2021-22.
In drafting the Draft 2021-22 Annual Business Plan and Budget, Council seeks to achieve a reasonable degree of rate stability over time while ensuring ratepayers are paying for those services and infrastructure maintenance obligations they require.
