Unley Council is calling for interested residents over fifty years of age, or representatives of appropriate community-based organisations, to join Council's Active Ageing Alliance.

The Alliance helps identify issues and provide advice to Council on decisions and policies that best support people to age well. This is a friendly peer group of like-minded people who volunteer their time to work with the Council to talk about, gauge and assess the needs of older residents and to work through ways that Council may be able to provide them, whether events, services or learning programs.

Formal meetings are held every quarter and invitations are often extended so there is opportunity for everyone to provide input, and to attend other events.

We currently have a couple of places available and would like to see full and diverse membership of this important group.

To express your interest, please fill out this nomination form with your details and return it via email or post.

If you'd like more information, get in touch with Active Ageing Projects Officer Jill Andrews by email at jandrews@unley.sa.gov.au

Nominations close Tuesday 13 June 2023.
