Council has two key environmental Draft Plans open for your feedback:

If these topics interest you, please visit Your Say Unley, Council’s engagement hub, and complete the surveys before 5pm Monday 10 May. (Hard copy surveys are also available from the Unley Civic Centre, Unley Libraries and community centres).

We are looking forward to your input on what you like about the draft plans and any improvement suggestions.

If you have any questions, come along to our drop-in sessions on Earth Day and speak to a staff member in person.

Draft Waste Management and Resource Recovery Plan 2021 – 2025

Waste management and resource recovery is one of the most visible services that Council provides.

The Draft Waste Management and Resource Recovery Plan aims to support our community in reducing waste and recovering more resources. It considers current and emerging issues, opportunities and trends in our community relating to resource recovery.

Draft Climate and Energy Plan – Our path to carbon neutral operations by 2030

The Draft Climate and Energy Plan sets out proposed direction and priorities for City of Unley Operations to be carbon neutral by 2030 by better tracking, managing and reducing Council’s operational and energy footprint.

This Draft Plan considers current and emerging issues, opportunities and trends in our community relating to carbon footprint.
