The Royal Adelaide Show brings lots of activity to our residential areas. The extra people and traffic movement during this period places greater pressure on car parking spaces. This can present a real safety risk to visitors and residents. As public safety is our top priority, and to protect the access and parking needs of our local traders and residents, Council needs to modify the parking controls that are in place down our side streets.
We encourage you to leave your car at home – there are so many great public transport options available. But if you choose to drive, look out for temporary Royal Show parking signs that will be effective during the Show from Friday 31 August through to Sunday 9 September.
Please also be mindful of resident permit zones, no-parking zones and note how long you can stay in one space.
We want everyone to enjoy the Show and hope that the only thing you spend your hard-earned money on is dagwood dogs, rides and showbags!
