LATM Zone 5: Fullarton / Myrtle Bank

Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) Zone 5 for the Fullarton and Myrtle Bank area was completed during 2024-26.

In total this plan includes 19 recommendations to be progressed either through delivery or advocacy. These have been informed by traffic data analysis and two rounds of community engagement, during which, one recommendation was withdrawn due to low community support.

Next steps

Funding has been allocated to begin detailed design for the high-priority actions. The first projects to move forward will be:

• Recommendation 1: Florence Street.

• Recommendation 10: intersection of Wooltana and Glenrowan Avenues with Ferguson Street.

These projects will be developed in detail in 2026, with construction planned for the following financial year, subject to Council’s 2026/27 Annual Business Plan and Budget. Recommendations 3, 5 and 6 are also expected to move into detailed design in the following financial year, subject to the same process.
