Do you have a child between 0–5 years old? Would you like to help develop their language and literacy skills?
Speech pathologists work with children and families to help build the foundations on which literacy skills develop.
Local speech pathologist, Shashi Davidson's presentation will include tips for parents and caregivers to use at home to support their child's language and literacy development, a book reading and the opportunity to ask questions about all areas of language and literacy.
Library staff will have resources available for borrowing and share suggestions for your Christmas lists.
This session is aimed at parents and caregivers of 0-5 year old children (however children are welcome to attend). Parents will need to supervise their own child/ren. There will be some craft and toys available for use throughout the session.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Bookings are essential for adults. Children are welcome to come along, but do not require bookings.
