Speech pathologists work with children and families to help build the foundations on which literacy skills develop.
Meet local speech pathologist, Shashi Davidson, enjoy a reading of one of Speech Pathology Australia's Book of the Year 2025 winning books, and find out more about how you can support your child's language and literacy development at home.
This is the perfect opportunity to ask questions about children's speech, language and literacy. Library staff will share some beautiful book suggestions for your Christmas lists.
This session is aimed at parents and caregivers of 0-5 year old children (however children are welcome to attend). Parents will need to supervise their own child/ren. There will be some craft and toys available for use throughout the session.
We look forward to seeing you there!
