Toss it? No way... fix it!

Learn how to fix your broken household items with the help of volunteer repairers. Bring along your small furniture, electrical appliances, toys, clothes, garden and household bits and bobs. Sorry, no clothing alterations, watches, microwaves or coffee machines. All welcome.

The Unley Repair Cafe is supported by Sustainable Communities SA Inc.

Please note:

• we are not a drop-off service - you must be willing to sit with/assist the repairer and learn how to fix your item
• one item at a time per person, to allow everyone the opportunity to participate. If you have more than one item you may 're-join the queue' after your first item has been attended to
• last repairs at 12noon, or earlier if we are very busy! Our session ends at 12.30pm sharp, so please arrive well before this to enable enough time for repairs
• we will have a large range of tools and equipment needed to make repairs, but we do not keep a stock of spare parts. We will have bits and pieces (screws, buttons, etc), but if your repair requires a specific spare part, please purchase before the session. We may be able to help you diagnose the issue to determine what part you need
• your item must be small enough to carry through the doors - no whitegoods or vehicle repairs
• the Unley Repair Cafe is free to attend, though any donations are greatly appreciated.

The Unley Repair Cafe runs on the last Saturday of every month 9.30am - 12pm (excluding December).
