Picture this: your street is alive with laughter, music, and the smell of a sizzling, smoky BBQ under the warm summer sun. Make it happen this December, with Merry Streets!

An initiative designed to support community gathering, Merry Streets is a program for our residents, where you can apply to host your own neighborhood street party. Council will safely close your street for you, and even provide a free activity like face-painting, live music or giant games!

It’s easy to get started- just follow these simple steps:

  1. Check if your street is eligible
  2. Invite your neighbors (you’ll need their approval for a successful application)
  3. Start party planning! Pick a date, a time and decide who’s bringing what.
  4. Complete your application and get ready to celebrate!
