Our recent Digital Arts Program was comprised of a free public forum, a free workshop for visual art students in years 9-12, and two free advanced workshops for artists of any age seeking professional development.
The free public forum saw a panel of professional digital artists and industry experts explore the range of pathways in the digital arts field. These speakers included:
The student workshop was hosted during the July school holidays at Carclew and facilitated by Dave Atze. The workshop saw high school students in years 9-12 learn or expand on digital art techniques with the intention of creating showcase ready work to be exhibited on screens across Unley.
Two advanced workshops were hosted locally in Unley and facilitated by Mitch Hearn. The workshop provided a space for professional artists of all ages and abilities to expand their practice into digital arts. These artists will be creating digital artworks to be exhibited on screens across Unley.
We look forward to announcing our exhibition of digital artworks on screens across Unley. Watch this space for more information on the upcoming exhibition, including a launch date and the locations of the screens involved in the exhibition.
