Sensory play is an activity that stimulates any of your child’s senses: touch, sight, taste, small, hearing and also movement, balance and spatial awareness.
Sensory play encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity.
Sensory play strengthens nerve connections in the brain leading to improved focus and concentration. It also encourages the development of language and motor skills, which builds a strong foundation for more complex learning in the future.
Come and try a range of sensory play stations to stimulate your child’s senses with toys from the Unley Toy Libraries.
All activities are taste safe.
