Nourishing Wellness: Cooking for a Healthier you

This workshop will introduce wellness and its components and discuss the role of nutrition in overall wellness, balanced diets and essential nutrients. Recipes will incorporate dense ingredients tastings for all recipes provided. Sustainable sourcing and eating means and the importance of seasonal produce while emphasising low food waste. Recipes will showcase seasonal and close local produce – tastings of all recipes provided.

Presented by Kathryn Hill who has a doctorate in Education and has worked in the tertiary education sector for many years both overseas and here in Australia

Friday May 29, 10.00-11.30am  

Cost: $10 per person, includes tastings.  

Balsamic Spelt salad, Broccoli and red lentil soup, Coconut and Cinnamon Teff Porridge. Each of these grains, spelt lentils and Teff are nutrient-rich and satisfying to eat. They are gluten free, high in protein and great sources of essential minerals and enzymes.
