Step into a hawker-style street market, where the air is filled with the aroma of sizzling woks, steaming pots, and spices from across continents. This is more than a food festival – it’s a dynamic cultural event showcasing the incredible diversity of Adelaide through one simple yet essential ingredient.

We are proud to have Festival of Rice selected as an official program in Tasting Australia.

Getting There

By Car

Parking will be extremely limited due to the road closures, the festival and a football game at Unley Oval. We'd suggest looking searching for parking in the backstreets on the southern side of Edmund Ave, or the northern side of Frederick St.

We would highly recommend leaving early to allow extra time, or taking public transport.

By Bus

Bus Stop 4 on Unley Road will drop you right next to Oxford St and the front entry to the festival.

This bus stop is serviced by bus routes 190, 195, 195F, 196, 196F and 674.

Bus Stop 5 on Duthy St will get you nearby to Oxford St. Just walk around Unley Oval to the other side of Oxford St to find the festival entry. This bus stop is serviced by bus routes 170, 172 and 637.

Free Entry

That’s right, entry to Festival of Rice is completely free to attend and open to all.

Whether you're a passionate foodie, a culture lover, or simply curious to try something new, Festival of Rice invites you to join us for an unforgettable celebration of flavour, culture and community.
