The City of Unley is proud to sponsor a category in this year’s Adelaide Independent Film Festival (AIFF26).

Held annually at the iconic, heritage listed Capri Theatre in Goodwood, AIFF26 celebrates short films from across the globe - featuring bold stories, diverse voices, and fresh perspectives.

The Best Unley Short Film Award includes a cash prize courtesy of the City of Unley and will be presented on stage by the Mayor or Deputy Mayor. 

AIFF26 City of Unley Short Film Eligibility 

To be considered eligible, you must meet ONE of the criteria below:

• Your short film was produced in the City of Unley. This includes if your producer, writer, director, or any other member of the crew resides in the City of Unley. 
• Part of, or all of, principal photography took place within the City of Unley. 
• Part of, or all of, post-production took place within the City of Unley. This includes if your editor, colourist or any other member of the crew resides in the City of Unley. 
• Your short film was made in collaboration with a business located in the City of Unley. 
• Any member of the cast and crew resides in the City of Unley. 

Submissions are now open and close Friday 12 June.
