Beyond the Gate is an ongoing program of projects aimed at connecting our community better with each other at a local level. Our current project is:
Say My Name
Say My Name – Unley is an ongoing participatory art project that responds to the situation of people not getting your name right. Made with local residents, it records them saying their own names correctly plus other versions they have been called over the years. The outcomes feature on a bespoke website as well as posters placed on walls around the City of Unley, with QR codes to access the corresponding videos. Created by the lead artists Paul Gazzola, Rosina Possingham and George Graetz in association with OSCA and supported by Arts South Australia.
