Changes to Council operating hours over festive season

The times of closures and changes to our operating hours over the Christmas holidays at our various sites are listed here.

If any emergencies occur over the holiday period outside of our specified opening times, you can still call our main line on 8372 5111 to report them.

Unley Civic Centre and Depot

Closes at 5pm on Friday 22 December 2023, reopens at 8.30am Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Unley Library

Closes at 5pm on Sunday 24 December 2023 and will reopen at 10 am Wednesday 27 December 2022. 

Hours on Thursday 28 December 2023 are from 10am to 6pm (reduced from 8pm close) 

Closes at 5pm on Sunday 31 December 2023 and reopens 10am Tuesday 2 January 2024. 

Unley Toy Library

Closes at 3pm on Saturday 23 December 2023 and reopens 10.30am Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Goodwood Library

Closes at 1pm Saturday 23 December 2023 and reopens 10am Tuesday 2 January 2024. (Goodwood Library customers are welcome to borrow and return items and use computer facilities at the Unley Library.)

Goodwood Toy Library

Closes at 1pm Saturday 23 December and reopens 11am Thursday 4 January 2024.

Fullarton Park Readers’ Lounge

Closes at Tuesday 12 December 2023 and will reopen Tuesday 6 February 2024. 

Fullarton Park Community Centre

Closes at 12 noon Friday 22 December 2023 and will reopen Wednesday 17 January 2024.

Clarence Park Community Centre

Closed from 12 noon Friday 22 December 2023 and will reopen Monday 8 January 2024.

Unley Community Centre

Closes at 12 noon Friday 22 December 2023 and will reopen Monday 8 January 2024.

Unley Community Centre Meal Service

The last meal service will be Tuesday 19 December 2023. The service will resume Monday 15 January 2024. Bookings essential, please phone 8372 5128.

Unley Museum

Closes at 6pm Thursday 21 December 2023 and will reopen 10am Monday 8 January 2024.

Unley Swimming Centre

• Open 9am - 6pm on Saturday 24 December 2023.
• Closed Sunday 25 December 2023 (Xmas Day).
• Open 10am to 6pm Tuesday 26 December 2023.
• Open 6am to 8pm Wednesday 27 December, Thursday 28 December and Friday 29 December 2023.
• Open 6am - 6pm Saturday 30 December 2023.
• Open 9am to 6pm Sunday 31 December  2023.
• Open 10am to 6pm Monday 1 January 2024.
• Normal hours resume from Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Community Bus

The community bus service will not operate between Monday 25 December 2023 and Monday 1 January 2024 inclusive.
