World-class cycling returns to Unley

Stages for the 2024 men’s and women’s races were launched this week, providing cycling fans the opportunity to enjoy a combined 1,116 kilometres of action across 10 days.

The City of Unley is delighted to continue supporting this prestigious event by hosting the final stage start of the Men’s Tour.

What: Men’s Stage 6 Start
When: Sunday 21 January 2024
Where: King William Road, Hyde Park.

Santos Tour Down Under Race Director Stuart O’Grady OAM said the City of Unley was popular with fans and riders alike.

“The Santos Tour Down Under has a long and proud history of starting stages in the City of Unley – the 2024 race will be our 21st visit to the community,” he said. 

“Its city-fringe location, leafy streets and buzzing atmosphere are sure to set the scene for a huge final day of action. We look forward to seeing King William Road at its colourful best once again.”
