Do you have solar panels on your home? Are you thinking about adding a battery to power your home at night and to take advantage of the Federal Government's Home Battery Scheme?

Paul Hill has powered his Adelaide Hills home with solar panels and batteries for the last ten years. His annual energy bills are now zero.

Paul is a self confessed renewable energy nerd. He will take you through the questions to consider when selecting and installing a home battery to optimise the return on your purchase.

Paul will help you understand:

• how to determine your current energy usage pattern
• which battery size is best for your home
• the potential benefits of purchasing a larger battery
• time of use tariffs, and
• the different plans offered by retailers.

 

An informative and relaxed evening with tea and coffee provided on arrival. There will be plenty of time for questions.
