Blood drive to save lives

At the City of Unley, we're proud to be involved with the Local Government Blood Drive 2023, commencing in July and running through until the end of September. Blood and plasma donations are needed urgently for hospitals caring for all types of patients, from very young babies to seniors, and for a range of medical procedures.

The City of Unley is urging everyone, including our own staff, businesses and residents, to come together for this blood campaign, because together we can make a real impact and save even more lives. After all, every drop counts!

If you would like to know more about how to donate blood again, or you are considering becoming a donor for the first time, Red Cross Australia has an app that encourages you to donate with others as a team, and contains all the information you'll need to get started.

So roll up your sleeves in July, August and September and support the Local Government Blood Drive in Unley!
