See the Crows play at Unley Oval

Published on 26 August 2022

Council is proud to be hosting Australian Football League Women (AFLW) games at Unley Oval and will continue to support this in future. This is the first year to feature all eighteen teams, mirroring the men’s competition by representing all clubs.

Recently, the Adelaide Crows met the North Melbourne Kangaroos on Saturday 10 September, and were convincing winners.

The Crows take on the Greater Western Sydney Giants (GWS) at Unley Oval on Sunday 25 September  with the match starting at 2.40pm.

They face the Fremantle Dockers at our iconic venue in Round 7, this time in a Saturday game, which also starts at 2.40pm.

The Crows will meet St Kilda in Round 10, but details of the time and ground are yet to be announced.

Adult spectators pay $10 entry to games, but all young people under 18 years of age are free.

Please be aware that public access to Unley Oval will be restricted for a full day prior to each match from 7am. This enables inspection of the playing surface with time to carry out any repairs, as well as line marking . After each game the Oval will be available again for full community access from around 5pm.

Parking restrictions will apply in areas surrounding Unley Oval on game days, the same as apply for Sturt Football Club home games.

Permit-only parking will be enforced in the following locations:

•             Western side of Rugby St (between Oxford Terrace and Edmund Avenue)

•             Southern side of Frederick St (between Trimmer Terrace and Langham Terrace)

•             Eastern side of Trimmer Terrace (between Oxford Terrace and Frederick Street)

•             City of Unley Civic Centre car park

Parking permits are only issued to players and match officials. Residents who rely on street parking in these areas will need to move their vehicles and not park in zones marked in blue or risk a fine. For more information, please call the City of Unley Customer Service team on 8372 5111.
