The City of Unley is championing a range of priority projects designed to support a connected, progressive and resilient future for our community. To bring these initiatives to life, we are actively seeking funding partnerships with State and Federal Government bodies and other potential supporters.
Our current priority projects include:
Goodwood Oval Sporting Precinct Revitalisation

The revitalisation of Goodwood Oval Sporting Precinct will create a modern, safe and inclusive space that fosters local sport, community wellbeing, youth development, and honours the service and spirit of the local community.
Anticipated Project Cost
$6.3M
Investment Needed
Investment is required to enable the delivery of:
- Tennis facilities upgrade ($1.5M)
- Cricket practice nets ($1M)
- Oval surface and drainage improvements ($2M)
- Youth and community development facilities (($1-$2M)
- A new name commemorating acts of service ($100k)

Unley Cultural Hub Development

The Unley Cultural Hub development will expand and reimagine Unley's award-winning Museum, creating a vibrant destination where history, heritage, and community thrive.
Anticipated Project Cost
$6.4 M
Investment Needed
$3.74M
The Unley Cultural Hub has received $2.66M from the Federal Government's Thriving Suburbs Program, displaying strong confidence in this transformative vision.

Ride Park Master Plan Redevelopment

More than just a walk in the park, The Ridge Park Master Plan Redevelopment will transform the City of Unley's largest open space, integrating modern amenities with environmental sustainability, inclusivity, and cultural heritage in mind.

$10.5M
Investment Needed
Investment is required to enable the delivery of:
- Junior Sports Hub ($6M)
- Wilding and Nature Play Area ($2.5M)
- Small Wheel Hub ($2M)
