The City of Unley has taken a significant step in its plan to manage and regain its urban forest across the City with the unanimous endorsement of its Tree Strategy at the Council meeting held on Monday night. The Tree Strategy is Council’s roadmap for keeping Unley leafy and sets out a target of a 20% increase in canopy cover by 2045; the equivalent of 14,000 new trees.
The City of Unley would like to acknowledge this land is the traditional lands for the Kaurna people and that we respect their spiritual relationship with their country.
