Thermal imaging cameras now available for loan.
The City of Unley has recently purchased thermal imaging cameras (one compatible with Android and the other with Apple/iOS devices), and Unley residents are welcome to borrow them.
The cameras are beneficial because they can detect areas of heat loss and unwanted heat gain in the home. This, in turn, results in a clear understanding of energy consumption and can reduce cost of living pressures.
The thermal cameras complement our home energy tool kits, already available for loan. The kits have various tools to allow individuals to undertake a home energy audit. Through a simple step-by-step process you can gain understanding and reduce your household's energy consumption.
To find out more or to borrow a thermal camera, please visit Unley Civic Library or place a hold on a camera via our catalogue. Please note that the thermal cameras can only be collected and returned at Unley Civic Library by Unley residents.
